Jennifer T asked:

Want to learn to apply eye makeup, but use the glass. I used the three years since I was, and I can 't see a thing without them. I can not see simply to apply makeup if we remove it and contact lenses are not an option. So how do I apply eye makeup if I can 't see to do it "?

Why is contact lens not an option?

The same as if you didn’t wear glasses.

a magnifying mirror may help you see without your glasses to apply eye makeup…

It will probably take a lot of practice. You might need to learn to do it by feel. Try experimenting with different products, without your glasses on, then put them back on to see how it looks.

Either way, with glasses you don’t need to wear a lot of eye make-up, so go easy anyway!

I’ve worn glasses all my life too. When I put on my makeup I have to be fairly close to the mirror. I know what you mean about checking out what it looks like from a distance but you don’t have your glasses on and you can’t tell. Right?? You’ll be able to tell as you are doing it by checking it out with the distance you do have without your glasses. Takes time. You’ll get used to doing it. Good Luck.

1] get a magnifying mirror, and apply.
2] get brows and liner tattooed on
3] get brows and lashes tinted.
Try: glasses with lens that flip up on each side:

This is sort of a stab in the dark here, but…

you know how people balance their glasses on the tip of their nose? maybe you can do that for eyeliner. im not sure about the rest…but you can kinda stick your eyeliner under your glasses to still see while you’re doing it.

maybe you could use those eyeshadow creams. you put some on your finger, take your glasses off and rub it on your eye lids. you probably don’t have to see to feel your eye lids.

and mascara…the best i can think of is get someone else to do it.

good luck.
